Lovely new boat (late 2016) with wonderful staff. The knowledge of the reef and willingness to share their passion for Lady Musgrave Island was what made the day.

Lady Musgrave Island and lagoon is a must see! Sadly the snorkeling is subpar as the reef really is mostly dead but that's just how the GB reef is now. But the water is the most incredible blue I've seen in tropical waters and worth the trip alone. The island is lovely to walk around and the guide, Marcus, was fun and knowledgeable. We saw turtle nests and reef sharks from the shore and our group did see one turtle in the water. The boat ride out was long and bumpy so if you get sea sick make sure you stand up, get some wind in your face and look forward!

Snorkelling was fantastic and very easy to do with kids. Walk on the island was far more interesting than I expected and I learnt a great deal.

Had a great time. The boat, the staff and the activities were all excellent. Lady Musgrave island is a very special place, unlike any other place on earth.

If you are staying in 1770/Agnes waters on holiday you must book a tour to lady musgrave island with 1770 Reef. Its a 90 minute boat ride to the reef where we snorkelled with turtles, fish & even some reef sharks. We then took a glass bottom boat out to lady musgrave and learnt all about the various coral's in the Reef and we were very lucky to see the most amazing leatherback turtles.

I'd advise anyone taking this trip to bring an extra set of clothes. It's quite easy to get wet, even if you don't intend to.

We had a great experience with 1770 Reef tours. Even though we went out on a rough day (15/11/17), the crew tended to everyone who was sick and made sure they were okay. The day out on the reef was amazing and we really enjoyed the island tour too. I cannot fault the crew as they did their best to ensure we had a good day. I look forward to returning to Lady Musgrave Island on a calm day.

One tip though is to take travel sickness tablets as the sea can be rough on the journey out there.
